The Barometer of Women’s Entrepreneurship is a flagship publication developed for Women in Business (WIB), a sub-initiative of hub.brussels dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs in Brussels. The project translates complex institutional data into a clear, accessible, and inclusive visual language, designed to work consistently across print and digital formats.
Role and collaboration
The project was developed in close collaboration with Caféine.studio, which managed project coordination and content organisation. I led all aspects of visual design, including editorial layout, illustration, and data visualisation.
Design approach
A key challenge of the project was working with an identity that was still under construction. This required a balance between adaptation and creation, ensuring that the visual system could evolve while remaining consistent and institutionally sound.
All illustrations and graphics were designed to be inclusive, clear, and easily understandable. Particular attention was paid to visual hierarchy, readability, and the interpretation of data, so that information could be accessed by a wide and diverse audience.
Formats and dissemination
Visual assets were conceived for multi-platform use, including:
Printed and digital reports (PDF)
Brochures
Landing pages
Quizzes and FAQs
Social media content
The project was produced in French and Dutch, ensuring consistency and clarity across languages and channels.
